Sadly I don't have any actual photos
of this show. The tight schedule meant that I didn't get time
to take any. However, this was the first test for my then brand
new WYSICAD software, which had arrived with less than a week
to go before I had to produce a plan for the Production Company. |

|
The software was quick and easy
to learn and use. Not only was I able to produce the plan within
time, but also these shaded views, which went on to form part
of the successful pitch (the grey band is the line of the balcony).
Colour washes in many colours came from PAR64s overhead and PAR36
DWEs crossing the centre. |

|
Movement and beams came from eight
MAC 250s and two strings of PAR36 ACLs, with profiles and fresnels
for speaker / video support. Further MAC300s and Robocolour 400s
were deployed in the foyer and generous use was made of pea strings
and Arcline around the balcony. The equipment was supplied by
the late, great Spot Co. and run by me from an Avolites Pearl
2000. |
